Youth Ministry

Youth at Redeemer

Youth (6th-12th grade)

Youth & Family Ministry helps families and the congregation fulfill their baptismal promises. Under the leadership of the Youth Director, the Associate Pastor for Faith Formation, and the Youth & Family Ministry Team, Redeemer creates a missional environment that empowers our young people to name the faith they profess, claim their power to make a difference, act in service towards others, and celebrate the gifts that God has given them.

Youth at Redeemer are welcoming to all. They are a unique group of students from across Metro Atlanta who come together to grow in their shared faith. We build strong bonds through fellowship, study, retreats, service, laughter and fun.

What is the role of the Youth & Family Ministry Team?

The Youth & Family Ministry Team at Redeemer is focused on visioning. In order to ensure that this ministry is sustainable and focused on the vision set forth, the Youth & Family Ministry Team will tend the overall movement of this ministry.

We are a caring community of adults who guide the vision of Youth & Family Ministry; create a culture that is missional in nature; provide opportunities for parents to grow in their faith; learn new models for serving the needs of youth & families and support parents as they nurture the faith in their homes.

What is the role of parents or caregivers?

Parents are responsible for fulfilling the promises they made at their child’s baptism with the help of the congregation. Redeemer’s Youth & Family Ministry exists to empower, enhance, and supplement the work you do at home to raise your children in the Christian faith.

Redeemer will surround your teenagers with caring, committed adults who will model lives of discipleship and reflect God’s unconditional love for them.

If you’d like to get more involved in planning or attending our activities, contact the Youth Director.

We look forward to experiencing with you what God is doing in the lives of your teens.
